About

Emily Flato, PsyD

I work with adults who may have spent years wondering why life feels harder than it should. My goal is to create a steady, respectful, and nonjudgmental space where you can better understand how your mind works, recognize recurring patterns, and develop tools for sustainable change.

My approach is integrative, trauma-informed, collaborative, and relational. I use a psychodynamic lens alongside evidence-based approaches including CBT, ACT, DBT-informed skills, and Motivational Interviewing. In couples work, I incorporate Gottman Method assessment tools and interventions.
